Q: How do I upload my website files?
A: MLDS supports the use of SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol). We do not support FTP, which can expose your login information (username and password) to prying eyes.
To use SFTP requires an SFTP client. Many free clients are available, on Windows MLDS supports FileZilla (www.filezilla-project.org) , and FUGU (rsug.itd.umich.edu/software/fugu/) on Apple OS-X*.
The SFTP servers hostname is login.mlds-networks.com
Once you have connected with an SFTP client, upload your website into public_html. Any files outsize that folder are not visible via your website.
*Linux clients supported are the command line scp tool, or the gftp graphical tool.
