Q2 Updates Complete
The Q2 updates are complete. The disastery recovery plan (Yeah I bet those other hosts wont tell you their's) has been updated and expanded to allow for faster reoverey of the database server.
Some Highlights:
- gcc was updated to 4.1.2 as well as glib/glibc
- Readline support was removed from php to fix a threading problem
- Updated spam filter to better catch image spam

Image Spam
Many of you might have been noticing the image spam getting through our spam filter. This is because all spam filters up till now used the text in emails to classify how 'spammy' a message's content is, and the spam filter couldn't read text in images, until now. We can now read the text and adjust the 'spammy' score from text in the image. Thus you should see a decrease in the amount of this spam.
If you start getting multiple image spams that have the same image, forward it to me so I can update the filter accordingly.
