This caused service to be effected for a much longer than acceptable period of time. MLDS at this time is evaluating other options from our current ISP. Current plans call for extra backup servers in Europe. Notes on updates PHP updated Ion Cube Installed Spam Scanner updated with new Anti-Virus engine. Recent Outages Recently there have been two major outages that were unexpected. The first was a failing switch was causing access to the data center to be interrupted. The defective hardware has been replaced. The second was about 4 hours of total outage due to a construction accident caused power to the data center to be cut along with the backup power. Service was restored quickly and MLDS would like to thank Consumers Energy for quickly responding to the mistake. Only one problem was encountered with upgrading. When trying to upgrade php to version 5.2, a problem with segfaults arose. For the time being we have back ported to php-5.1.
